Pop Bumpers Pinball to Open in Weymouth, MA

Pop Bumpers Pinball has announced they will open a classic pinball arcade in Weymouth, Massachusetts. The exact address is 407 Bridge Street, North Weymouth, MA (greater Boston’s south shore). The location is just inland from the popular Nantasket Beach in Hull, itself a former arcade hot spot that many will remember as the former home to Paragon Park.

Guests will pay one admission price and enjoy games set to free play.

Pop Bumpers Pinball’s Facebook page gives us a hint at the types of games guests can expect:

Pop Bumpers Pinball will feature classic pinball machines, lovingly restored, and playing like new!

It is likely that Scott Moore from Atlantic Pinball in nearby Rockland, MA has a hand in restoring and maintaining these electro mechanical machines.

Pop Bumpers Pinball plans to open by February 15, 2014.

I’m looking forward to getting there as close to opening as possible! I’ll let you know more about it as I find out.

  1. […] Called Pop Bumpers Pinball, they are aiming to open their doors in North Weymouth, MA on Feb. 15th. I haven’t seen a full games list but it looks that their focus is to be a classic pinball venue. At the very least they will have Mata Hari, Star Trek, Eight Ball, and Target Pool. I am sure they will have a much larger selection than that but either way expect it to be classics and not newer Stern or Jersey Jack stuff. Typical of other classic arcade locations, one entry fee covers the play so no need to bring quarters for the games. [Via Pinball Soul] […]
